Suffice to say, i agree with most of their positions.

Quran 2:89: Jews used to make dua through mediation of Holy Prophet salalahu alaihi waAlihi wasalam even before His blessed birth. As He was mentioned in their scriptures.

Waseela does not need the condition that He has to be physically alive.

According to the Quran, the Holy Prophet salalahu alaihi waAlihi wasalam does everything with Allah swt's consent and grants. He has no independent powers.

Thus, asking for His help is in reality asking Allah swt via His waseela. And Allah swt commands us to seek waseela.

There is no proof that asking a living person for help is acceptable, but asking a deceased person for help turns into a shirk.
