This profile is boring. Go look at Luanti/Minetest (which I founded and still oversee) or Openinverter (a very technical EV conversion community) instead.
@coolbanana321@MustacheBob2 It was barely reusable requiring months of rebuilding and it was designed to be way less capable. It's not really even a comparison.
@jmhagerman@elonmusk A rocket that size will always blow up when it tips over. And there's nothing to catch it in the ocean. This is V3 vs. the previous V2, which is the main point.
@Vuorimaki1@aidanjuuritanja Tuossa ostaja mokasi pahemman kerran. Selvittivät että Turussa käytetään tiettyä bussimallia tyytyväisinä, ja ostivat sitten vehkeen jossa on kirjaimellisesti puolet tehosta Turun värkkeihin verrattuna.
@senatorbabet That's not really the winning argument. What could be is that the government/society already benefits disproportionally much from the newly created business without any extra taxes. And that taxing a thing that's not needed for survival makes it much less likely to happen.
@fatboldprince@KaiserBenKaiser In the long term the migrants will not uphold any kind of pension system at all for the original people. It's a democracy and they will change policy to match their viewpoints as soon as they are the majority.
@zhongwen2005 To anyone who knows anything about cars this looks utterly stupid and obviously wrong. And it gets exponentially worse when you start looking up what actual Tesla parts look like.
@Nashcash@elonmusk@wholemars@WR4NYGov 4 seconds means it was disengaged before that video clip begins. Plenty of time for it to slow down if it wasn't disengaged, or in this case, plenty of time for the human to do the same. Disengaging is the thing to be aware of on any ADAS system.
I'm always on the lookout for interesting releases on the IRC/Discord/Matrix chat application realm, and it looks like this year brings us something significant: Fluxer, from Sweden. It's open source and there's no VC money in it
@pineboxtrev @elonmusk So you're one of the people who think pivoting due to market conditions and not getting your estimates right is lying? It's not like SpaceX is twiddling its thumbs waiting for Musk to say when to go. They've been hard at work for 10 years and that will continue.
@Samhain948689@elonmusk Pivoting isn't lying. A smart person is always ready to re-prioritize when the markets change or new information comes about. This is not a religion
@rook_simon12557@ApoStructura I don't like your BS reply, but here goes: Starship is out of necessity very different compared to a traditional single use rocket. Anyway, out of all of the merged Musk companies, xAI is the one bleeding money and SpaceX is the one generating it. I'm willing to give it more time
@rook_simon12557@ApoStructura Cars were a fantasy until someone made one. You can't build the future without planning things that don't exist yet. The only thing that matters is feasibility in terms of physics
me: i would like to buy a launch on a reusable rocket
spaceX: ok
me: i would also like high speed satellite internet
spaceX: got it
me: also do you know where i can find access to a frontier ai model and a social media site?
spaceX: you’re not gonna believe this
