@st_booty Don’t worry. Part of the process is meeting with someone from the unemployment office and they double check things. Also they have you put in information that the government technically already has from your past employers.
In college I use to have deal with lack of sleep and my body shutting down when putting together a marching band show. Now I basically do the same thing for a living but for theatre and I get paid for it. Sometimes I have to remind myself of the little things to get through tech.
Thinking about all the black, brown, & low-income students who arrive at college & who are made to feel as if they don't deserve to be there, while so many wealthy students have their parents essentially buy their way into these schools & rarely experience the same skepticism.
I recently looked up a posting for my previous job. It was ridiculous what the starting wage was and not the guarantee of minimum hours. Goes to show that my choice to look elsewhere for a union job was worth the fight and living in a state where unions are fought for.
My morning includes running to the liquor store to grab some vodka because it’s easier to spray down the husband’s court suit jackets than dry cleaning every week. Mormon rebel but I think of it as a natural remedy. Also it’s a theater costume trick🙃
