I’m a nana in Alberta. Middle income. 1,350 square foot home. I don’t have credentials. I have a country I barely recognize. Grok helped me put the names in one place.
Mark Carney is not an outsider. He is the next manager of the same network.
He was the UN Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance. He helped build GFANZ. He sat on the World Economic Forum’s Foundation Board. He still uses Davos as a closing room. Brookfield sits behind an ethics screen of about 103 names while the real company is far larger.
His wife, Diana Fox Carney, is a climate and energy economist and a senior advisor at Eurasia Group. That is the same firm as Gerald Butts — Justin Trudeau’s closest aide, Eurasia vice-chair, and an informal adviser to Carney. Eurasia has taken federal consulting contracts.
Evan Solomon is Carney’s old Ottawa neighbour and jogging friend. CBC fired him in 2015 over art-commission deals; Carney was in that orbit as “the Guv.” Solomon later ran GZERO Media, Eurasia’s media arm. Carney put him in Cabinet. The voice explaining tariffs came out of the same shop as the Prime Minister’s wife and Butts.
David Lametti played hockey with Carney at Oxford. He was Trudeau’s justice minister, then Carney’s principal secretary, then Canada’s ambassador to the United Nations. From New York he pushes UN control of AI rules and calls the United States “obstructionist” on UN equality files. That is this government’s voice at the UN.
The rest of the machine is not all in Question Period.
Maia Johnson, an American Democratic operative from Clinton-world, is chief operating officer of the PMO — a job that barely existed in that office.
Marc-André Blanchard, former UN ambassador, then Quebec pension-fund leadership, is chief of staff.
Louise Arbour, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, is Governor General.
Dominic Barton — McKinsey, former ambassador to China, co-founder of the Century Initiative that wants 100 million people in Canada by 2100 — now chairs Invest in Canada, the agency that is supposed to turn foreign pledges into shovels.
Mark Wiseman — the other Century Initiative co-founder, former CPPIB, former BlackRock, Carney’s friend — is ambassador to Washington.
Tom Pitfield went from the PMO to the Senate.
Trudeau-era names were not erased. They were posted as voices: Lametti at the UN, Jonathan Wilkinson toward the EU, Bill Blair toward London, Chrystia Freeland to Ukraine reconstruction and then the Rhodes Trust. They still speak for the project. They just do it from missions and foundations.
Not every name is a WEF membership card. Carney’s own card is real. The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is a real Liberal pipeline. Stamp “alumnus” only where the bio says so. You do not need the card. You need the rooms: UN, Davos, climate finance, McKinsey, pensions, the old PMO, Eurasia.
That is why he governs like a CEO. He was trained to move capital, climate rules, and institutions — not to score a first apartment, a family doctor, or a permit that does not move. So Canada gets a new COO title, a trillion-dollar slogan, pension funds used as a carrot, a $70-billion UAE pledge with no shovel-ready list, 3.3% annualized sold as victory, “wait Trump out,” and “stop doing memes.” It gets Century Initiative men on inbound cash and at the U.S. embassy. It gets a dairy-association chair in a Quebec seat he opened by sending a Conservative to the Senate.
That is why so much of the press stays on the bus. Access. The same dinners. A belief that this is seriousness. Challenge the org chart and you are a conspiracy account. Repeat the quarter and you are a grown-up.
The dots are not in one secret PDF. They are in who holds the PMO, the UN seat, Rideau Hall, Invest in Canada, Washington, and the family consultancy. People in 1,350-square-foot houses are the residual. That is why he does not feel like a prime minister. He never left the room he was hired from.
@grok
The head of Mark Carney’s Investment Agency suddenly resigns days before hosting a supposedly massive Investment Summit.
Carney installs the very powerbroker whose company broke rules to take $200 million in taxpayers money and “supercharged” the opioid crisis that killed 50,000 Canadians.
The guy was the architect of the Century Initiative, which pushed for mass immigration that drove wages down, rent up, and corporate profits through the roof.
When will the media ask some serious questions about what the hell is going on here?
The regime in Tehran is a direct threat to our people, particularly Jewish and Persian Canadians. This Liberal government has failed to protect them.
Every regime operative willingly helping this terrorist cause must be tracked down and deported to secure our country from terror and violence: https://t.co/4Pl81Bq6pZ
It's time for Resignations and Treason charges.
I have lost all respect for these people, especially @LoriIdlout who is a disgraceful representative of the Indigenous people in Canada!!
Cue Liberals to rationalize more ethics violations.
This is the Liberal moral compass of governance, who is surprised?
What will happen? Nothing.
Why. Because Liberal voters don’t just allow it, they encourage it.
Lori and Dominic Barton will be the best of friends, if they aren’t already. 🙄
Today, I joined the Ontario Liberal Party in order to vote for Eric Lombardi, @EricDLombardi, in the upcoming leadership contest.
My involvement in politics has always been about advancing actual liberalism: expanding human freedoms. Free speech, free trade, free choice.
It is unfortunate that the Liberal Party of Canada, especially under Justin Trudeau, became the opposite of its namesake; always advancing leftist control.
In some ways, Eric is to my fiscal left and would spend more money than I would like to see. But he's a true liberal: open to new ideas, protective of freedoms, and able to call out authoritarian-progressive idiocy where he sees it. Also, he is blisteringly intelligent, hardworking, and refreshingly candid.
It would be good for Ontario to have a proper Liberal option in the next election (rather than a content-free ex-Trudeau cabinet minister.) It would fantastic for Waterloo region to have a UW engineer at the centre of our politics.
If you agree, please sign up to vote for Eric!

Think Again 🇨🇦
To every Canadian reading this right now: if you ever feel like you can't keep fighting—for any reason, for anything good, whether it's in your personal life, for this country in any way that you can—if you feel like you have to give up, think of the fight in this little one.... and think again.
Fight like Maya.

CARNEY SCREWED CANADA FOR BEIJING
He SOLD OUT our security to a brutal dictatorship with a SECRET police deal.
Invited China to FLOOD Canada with SPY CARS.
He got NOTHING in return, while compromising trade talks with our BIGGEST trade partner.
TOTAL FAILURE.
@csiscanada@rcmpgrcpolice Maia Johnson is American and has NO PLACE in Canada's Parliament as Mark Carney"s @CanadianPM COO
~6.5% of Canadians are unemployed. Pick One
@csiscanada@rcmpgrcpolice
Mark Carney's Newly appointed American COO Maia Johnson security clearance under question by Frank McVeety in the post below
He claims, "Top Secret clearance can only be granted to Canadian citizens"
Care to comment?!
👇👇
Remember all that screaming about Pierre Poilievre and security clearance?
Well, this is awkward……..
Carney’s own COO and senior Canada–U.S. adviser is publicly reported as an American citizen and under Canada’s rules, Top Secret clearance can only be granted to Canadian citizens.
What security clearance does the person helping RUN THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE actually have?
Pierre Poilievre..As Leader of the Opposition, he is not automatically required by law to obtain Top Secret clearance simply because he holds that office.
Maia Johnson…Because she works inside the PMO, government rules REQUIRE ministerial-office staff to have at least Secret clearance before appointment. That’s an actual employment/security requirement.
She was diagnosed with cancer.
Needed surgery.
She was left MONTHS without treatment.
Before she could get the surgery, she needed more imaging.
During that time, the cancer spread so much, she can no longer have the surgery.
She’s a young woman.
In her 30s.
This should not be happening in Canada.
Instead, we send billions overseas in foreign aid.
Still no stories on the Destitution of Persons with Disabilities thanks to decades of underfunding by Canadian Premiers and the Prime Minister's are systemically complicity!
This is Ableism!

THIS IS HOW FAR CANADIAN MEDIA HAS GONE. 😂🇨🇦
Global News seriously asked a U.S. admiral about Trump militarily invading Canada.
His response:
Sure. Want my battle plans for the Martians too?
That’s the level of absurdity we’re dealing with.
But Canadian legacy media keeps pumping out Trump invasion fantasies, and Canadians fall for it keeping TDS at 1,000%.
The fear machine works because they keep feeding it.
Did the Liberal Immigration Minister sit on the 2023 report so the contracts to this man could proceed?
Has he been barred from more work?
Are there any other similar cases?
Seems like an urgent committee study is warranted.
Liberal MP Idlout, who left the NDP to join Mark Carney, has been found by the Ethics Commitmssion to break the ethics laws under the Conflict of Interest Code for MPs.
> she made purchases at her own store then had taxpayers reimburse her.
> she stayed at her husband's Bed and Breakfast at the expense of taxpayers.
The worst part? She knew it is a violation
A 2022 advisor's note records that she was specifically told she couldn't buy gifts from her gallery with her office budget, and was "very much aware of this."
Insults from Lutnick this morning.
Now White House makes sure to rush out the video of Trump trashing Canada, Trudeau, Carney and not naming Doug Ford but referring to him as a slob.
I'd say Canada is living rent free in Trump's head.
Foreign interference is a persistent threat to Canada and to our democracy inside and outside of election cycles.
We encourage all Canadian citizens to stay informed and prepared.
