The one root cause to the Homeless Crisis and Addiction Crisis in Canada that #cdnpress #cdnmedia #CBCNews #CTVNews never discuss, which is immediately fixable, is Canadas cruel punative and abusive individual social safety net program monthly rates for individuals who for hundreds of different reasons are on Provincial Welfare or Disabilities Supports and the reasons the Government at all levels refuse to increase the rates so people are not having to live in tents or ride the TTC
In Ontario these programs are called OW Ontario Works and Ontario Disabilities Support Program ODSP

In 2 years since her death nothing new has drastically improved the lives for individual Canadians with Disabilities living in Government INFLICTED poverty
Sure the Canadian Disabilities Benefit was created and launched in July 2025, but it came with barriers and at $200 has lifted NO ONE out of Poverty especially if you consider Inflation, Tariffs, Food Prices and increased Taxes since the initial liberal promise
Canada also got a "New Government" and the New Prime Minister who has basically ignored the disabilities community since he has come into power except to remove the title Minister of Persons with Disabilities from his Cabinet allowing the Liberal talking heads Patty Hadju and Leslie Church to dance around the vast issues in the disabilities portfolio with more gaslighting, half truths and with a you are lucky you got that $200 & get a job attitude.
Countless other Canadians with disabilities have lost their lives since #veganlovebunny took her own life, but Canada will never have accurate statistics because Assisted Suicided MAID is not allowed as the cause of death on death certificate documents in places like Ontario
Canada please don't let #veganlovebunny die in vain and contact you MPP, MP, Premier and the Prime Minister and the opposition and demand better financial support for all Canadians with Disabilities as one day unexpectedly you could join the Disabilities community just as the injured at Tumbler Ridge School Shooting, the Humble Broncos Hockey Team and so many more have unfortunately become recent members!
