Philippine Airlines just became the 16th oneworld member. Mabuhay Miles will soon unlock 700+ lounges and 900+ destinations. The catch: full integration could take 18+ months. #PhilippineAirlines#oneworld
@libdembounce There are very specific cases like this (long distance) where privatisation / competition can work. Atm, Open Access isn't going anywhere under GBR (though they reserve the right to). Privatisation elsewhere on the network (commuter services) doesn't make sense.
@Timoldland Couple pieces of advice - possibly consider getting a CarVX report done. For this you will need the VIN but you will be able to see the vehicle history in Japan - auctions; crash damages.
@theunlockr While it is good you are being careful - you are wrong, sorry. The 'not real' login has been used for about 1y in UK - including MSFT authentication - but sometimes throws you back to the old picture-based login screen. I presume they rolled out to US site now.
I just broke down the full timeline of this feud and exactly how Ryanair turned Musk's insults into millions in free marketing.
Watch the full breakdown here: https://t.co/WdWu1jmMiW
Michael O’Leary just gave a masterclass on how to handle Elon Musk.
When Elon called him an 'insufferable chimp,' most CEOs would have called their PR team. O'Leary launched a seat sale instead.
Here is how a budget airline just won the biggest PR war of 2026: 🧵
It started with Starlink. Musk wanted it on every plane. O'Leary said it was too expensive and caused 'fuel drag.'
The spat turned personal, leading to Musk's viral poll about buying Ryanair. But Elon forgot one major thing: EU ownership laws.
@bsilone@Ryanair@elonmusk You clearly have not encountered Ryanair. Nobody likes it - everybody still flies it - have an epic social media team.
Ppl saying they'll fly other airlines, that's twaddle - so many routes that other airlines can't make feasible on P2P basis.
We’ve just announced a strategic partnership with German airline @Condor, alongside the launch of new daily flights connecting Frankfurt and Berlin to Abu Dhabi starting Summer 2026. Starting 1 May 2026, Condor will operate daily services between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi, followed by daily Berlin-Abu Dhabi flights from 15 June 2026. This partnership will significantly broaden direct access to Abu Dhabi for German travellers, with a direct capital-to-capital link and seamless onward connections to Etihad's extensive network across the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia. @SPD_travels Feels like the upteenth time in the past few years they’ve “announced” European service again - I’ll be surprised if anything comes of it.
@AlexEdgerton The thing is they’ve explicitly said the car will be in BEV, PHEV, Petrol, Petrol Mild Hybrid and Hydrogen. The press seem to have just run with the hydrogen for headlines.
@SomeUKTeslaGuy@JordanEVGuy I think he started to see the benefits of this type of discourse when he got an RT from Musk. Seemed to go a bit to his head - the temperature of everybody needs to calm down.
