Was planning to work in UK when I get my italian passport but just got to know that england out of brexit means it would not work there. Any idea of how can I work in a kennel or anything related to greyhounds? Doesnt matter what it is as long its close to dogs
@TheOracleBen Thats because it feels like Ryan is ''one of us'', its like a friend who loves the game and think just like you, hes just being himself. Hope this is a kickstart to increase ''our side'' of the story online, not generic and timed content
Need a few people from UK to test and give me feedback about a Greyhound analysis tool. Its game changing and I strongly believe nothing will ever come close to this on greyhound racing. Pm me if you can help!! Thanks
If you have a greyhound kennel or syndicate and dont have a website yet: I'm finishing two right now and will create one for free (you only pay for the domain). If anyone is interested pm me :)
My email to the GBGB in relation to concerns regarding the standard of trap openings in Greyhound handicap races โคต๏ธ
Dear GBGB Officials,
I am writing to raise a serious and ongoing concern about the standard of officiating in greyhound handicap racing.
Week in, week out, it is noticeable that the traps are not opening consistently. Some traps are clearly opening earlier than others, giving certain greyhounds an unfair advantage at the break. In a sport where races are regularly decided by inches and hundredths of a second, this inconsistency has a massive impact on the result particularly in handicap races where the whole purpose is to create a level playing field.
This is not a minor issue. It directly affects the integrity of the racing product, the confidence of punters, and the livelihood of trainers and owners. When small margins matter so much, trap reliability and consistent officiating are essential.
I respectfully request that the GBGB investigate this matter as a priority. I believe the following actions would help restore confidence:
A review of current trap opening mechanisms and maintenance standards
Closer monitoring and recording of trap opening times during handicap races
Clearer reporting and accountability when inconsistencies are identified
Consideration of post-race analysis or technology to verify fair trap openings
I am a regular supporter of greyhound racing and want to see the sport maintain the highest possible standards. I would appreciate an acknowledgement of this email and an update on what steps will be taken to address this issue.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Kind regards,
David Branch
