@RicharlisonSZNx@AlasdairGold So you can admit it is clickbait now? You are the weirdest 'person' I've interacted with in a long time but then student age people in this day and age are generally bizarre creatures. Check the grammar in your own profile before commenting on mine.
@spaulinnit@grassrootsrefJa I've noticed that some solutions to 'time wasting' will be to add any lost time back on.... But that only addresses half the problem. The other issue with these tactics is that it sucks the momentum out of the game making it more boring for the fans to watch.
@grassrootsrefJa@Prestonphonebox@BBCSport I would LOVE to them see them implement this exactly as stated in your screenshot. The game has gone downhill in recent years and this past season the worst. Get it back on track!
@spaulinnit@grassrootsrefJa Good lord that's awful. Would enjoy seeing a ref book the same guy twice. Once for mucking about and then a second time once that player then walks off probing he had no intent in taking it in the first place. I think the next player would take it quickly enough after that
@WalterZelig@MarwanAlAmoodi@footyinsider247@HACKETTREF If you go back and watch the throw they changed throwers twice so actually 3 men had the ball. That was a signal to the ref what they were playing at so his patience ran out very quickly at that corner
@spaulinnit@grassrootsrefJa That's because until the CL final nobody thought it was possible to waste time on an attacking action like a corner! Trust Arsenal to show you can absolutely be boring at the most unexpected times.
@grassrootsrefJa@Prestonphonebox@BBCSport So even if the GK is taking too long to get the ball the ref can start the timer? This is very good but I also imagine teams will find ways of slowing down the GK getting the ball in the first place. Slowly walking to retrieve it etc
@BBCSport 5 seconds for goal kicks? Presumably the 5 second timer starts whenever the GK sets the ball down so to time waste they can instead just take longer to get the ball and set it down.
@DaleJohnsonBBC OK. So a defender could foul an attacker (like Cucurella on VDV) safe in the knowledge that VDV can't foul him back? This sounds like they're allowing defensive grappling etc as long as its completed by the time the ball is kicked in to play
@DaleJohnsonBBC Nmecha touch on the ball is just opinion, not fact. Based on a guess.
The PGMO can explain away whatever they want to satisfy themselves despite no logic or critical thinning.
Just like Bruno's "assist" on final day. Or ignoring all the Arsenal fouls BEFORE Raya was pulled.
@AlasdairGold Ali, great work all season from yourself. Thanks for keeping us informed along the way. Will you be rating the players out of 10 across the entire season?
