@MichaelSuppo Stock market bottoms are typically long before the end of a recession, not buying that it will go lower later in recession. Also what's more important is the ratio of the funds held by either party. Low-income retail who need to sell in a recession don't really drive the market.

Signing new players shows club has money to spend so players have no reason to accept paycuts.
