The craziest thing I'm seeing right now with AI is people just connecting it straight to production systems. Live databases, email, endpoints. AI convinced them to get full access, no restrictions. What we've done in software for years is keep things separated.

Dev, staging, prod. Nothing touches real data until it's been tested. That's just how it works. But with AI? All that discipline went out the window. Security is "phase two," and phase two never comes.
