It doesn’t quite make sense based on your logic to say the two men of entirely different parties fought for similar reform.
@noahjsanchez3@Nick_Gozinya@PatrickOShea317 or maybe with a little history knowledge you’d realize the parties pulled the ol’ switcheroo in the early 1900s and the ideologies switched with the voter base. the party may have been the “democrats” but the politicians were what would be considered republicans today.
