This weirdo isn't even trying to campaign. CA dems have entirely stopped giving a damn about earning your vote. If you want better candidates, you need to hand them an L so they actually try next time. Becerra is the perfect one to hand an L to because it wouldn't hurt the party whatsoever. He's not a star. He has no political future. Nobody wants this guy. He's the 3rd string quarterback who subbed in after the leading candidate got accused of sexual assault.

Give this dude an L, it won't hurt the party whatsoever, you'll still have a dem AG, dem senate, total dem monopoly on the rest of the state, but electing Hilton will provide a small check on the craziness here and actually force the next dem candidate to TRY and earn your vote 4 years from now. California desperately needs a reset. I understand not wanting to hand an L to Newsom, he's a heavy hitter, you wanna preserve his record as best you can. But this dork? Who cares about Becerra. Broom him, and run an actual star in 2030 who could be a future president.

My best friend is a property manager in LA. Today she had to call the police to deal with a naked, raving homeless man at one of her properties. The police did not come. Instead they sent the "mobile crisis response team" - a collection of pierced, blue/purple haired weaklings who are supposedly empowered to "deescalate" mental health episodes on the streets. It should not surprise you that they did not, indeed, deescalate one damn thing. After wasting hours of my friend's time, they finally forwarded the matter to the police, who ushered him away but did not arrest him (because they can't). Police left. Dumb woke street counsellors left. Crazy naked man was back in 5 minutes.

Los Angeles is a hellhole and I really don't foresee it improving any time soon.

Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.)
