Here are the standard, current ways to change your Home address in Google Maps (the labeled place used for quick directions, commute info, etc.)
On the Google Maps mobile app (Android or iPhone)

Open Google Maps and make sure you’re signed in.
Tap your profile picture / You icon.
Go to Settings (or Your data in Maps / Edit home or work).
Find Home under the labeled places / Home & work addresses.
Tap the three dots next to it → Edit home.
Clear the old address, then enter the new one, search for it, or choose it on the map (drag the pin). Confirm and save.

Via your Google Account (syncs across devices)

Go to https://t.co/t5rthw8hnu (or on Android: Settings → Google → Manage your Google Account).
Open Personal info.
Under Addresses, select Home.
Enter the new address and save.

Changes usually sync quickly. You can also remove the old Home label entirely and re-add it if editing doesn’t stick.
