Never thought i'd be able to use this meme in the same sentence with a rad library org, but here we are! Congrats to @LibraryFreedom for being acknowledged by @MellonFdn for their proven track record in facilitating freedom and a community of care for library & archive workers.
Wow ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐ค๐ฝInspiration for me to finally pick up my guitar again and learn as a left hander. Tho I wonโt be playing upside down ๐ธ
The way Ann M. Martin used to describe Claudia in the Babysitters Club Series ๐ฌ๐. If I reread the stuff I devoured as an avid child reader today, Iโd completely lose it.

Tbh sci-fi has never been my thing, even when Black characters have been centered. But reading Parable of the Sower years before our current societal collapse gave me hope and ideas about how to survive the end of the world, as @adriennemaree would say. Oh, Olamina. TY Octavia ๐ฑ
@catladylib Im sad too even though I havenโt been on here very long and I donโt have a ton of followers. Glad weโre connected on IG. Also sorry for the shitty ex. I also gained one of those this year. He won the prize of the shittiest person Iโve ever known. ๐ฅ
Iโm not a devotee here but it is how I made many connections to learning opportunities in the library and archives world and learned more ab disability justice so I am feeling sad ๐ Anyhoo, to keep in touch with LFP sign up๐๐ฝ and my website is pinned on my profile โ๐ฝ๐ซถ๐ฝโ๐ฝ
seems like the time to set up some contingencies before this site implodes -- so here's a brand new LFP news and announcements mailing list. low volume, only important and good stuff from us, turning into a regular newsletter in the new year. subscribe: https://t.co/VIAhhKu0G0
@cathyparkhongโs Minor Feelings was one of the most eye opening books Iโve read. Itโs fiery, heart breaking, and necessary. And as a fellow biracial and badass single mom, I canโt get enough of @ymmayer. Like ever.
