@caitlinmoran @herdyshepherd1 Just to be clear... don’t just throw them into the air! Put them at a height they can take off from (at least 1.5m above the ground) and observe them. If they take off... great, if not get them to a rescue centre.

@caitlinmoran @herdyshepherd1 Swallows can’t take off from the ground so if you find them on the floor you have to rescue them and release from a height/put them on a branch. If they fell to the floor due to exhaustion best bet is to get them to a wildlife rescue centre for a few days recovery.

@Fritillaria3 Mine is very happy in a closed terrarium. It’s been there for nearly a year and is growing well and sending up some babies. I was careful to keep the likelihood of fungal contamination low though.

@guylundo @janeperrone @home_plant @houseplanthour You can try a shallow/wider pot for most plants. If you have a big fern that can be split why don’t you put half in a normal pot and the other half in a shallower pot and see how it goes? Bonsai pots can be expensive but that sort of shape is good.

@LettUsGrow A couple of things on the go. Mainly 🍅 varieties and edible flowers (yes I know I need to pot on the tomatoes but space is at a premium and it’s too cold for them in the greenhouse right now). Not going to feed us anytime soon but mentally very calming.
