Congress has eliminated $2.2M of annual support for @HoustonPubMedia. HPM has launched a $4.4M campaign to offset the losses over the next 2 years to sustain their trusted journalism, educational programming, and emergency alerts. I support and stand with HPM.

The 10th (!!) edition of the 1869 Challenge is right around the corner! Get a head start (or get it out of the way) by showing some #TigerPride now. Class of '09, this counts towards our reunion class challenge as well! https://t.co/FtgRLRo1so #1869Challenge
Generative AI should have us questioning our understanding of the value of humans in writing. We might need to think about the relationship between writing and being human... metaphysically speaking. https://t.co/GF9GdrPqwZ
By ERCOT's projections, when demand is peaking at over 80GW at 5pm tomorrow, wind and solar will conveniently be at near-peak generation, providing nearly 20% of the power on the grid.
#Fintech was supposed to democratize #financialadvice. But not all #knowledge is created equal and some of it is easier to commoditize. Hint: It's the kind most advisors have historically provided to clients. https://t.co/FVTR0pt33I
“The truth is, people don’t want to run their own servers, and they don’t want to have to write code every time they buy a loaf of bread, so ‘centralized’ services will inevitably arise to make web3 actually work for regular people.” — @profgalloway https://t.co/JkwLHPVLPm
Not sure what to make of this NFT thing? Let's explore of how this nascent technology might impact the market for the world's oldest asset class. Yes, this is my first attempt at being a #futurist. Why do you ask? #defi#nft#blockchain https://t.co/MgaY1y3VEv
I've mostly thought of masks as a way to avoid infecting others. Interesting study suggesting that it might improve your own outcomes if you do become infected as well (particularly in the winter). https://t.co/2Se5gVkZa4
I'm keeping an eye on this lawsuit. Could be the beginning of the end of 6% commissions on home sales... 💎👐 your house until further notice! https://t.co/B15Tl9KHeA via @houstonchron
@drewgriz Oh interesting. I’m not sure how the sensors for our solution worked. Considering the audience it probably didn’t need to fidelity required by a plant operator or even a trading desk.
@drewgriz Yeah. We did a project years ago that got up to the minute plant data to the executives of a company on the generation side. Data infrastructure has been in place for years. Would be curious to know if their are statutory limits on ERCOT sharing that data from the generators.
@drewgriz Challenge is that we have a decentralized voting system. Every state runs its own elections creating 50 (56 if you count DC and territories) unique mixes of partisan incentives.
