Every cent to charity.
@RyanDetrick@awealthofcs Why are you sharing what is obviously fake government propaganda?
Survey any 1000 people and see what they think of this garbage data.
HULL WAR PREMIUMS just rose again. Despite a handful of transits. Despite ceasefire talks. Despite diplomatic announcements. The market is sending a signal that the diplomatic track is not. Before February 28 a VLCC transiting Hormuz paid 0.15% to 0.25% of hull value for war risk cover.
Today the same transit costs 2.5% in most instances and 5% for vessels with US, UK or Israeli connections. At 5% on a $200 million vessel that is $10 million for a single passage. Lloyd's CEO Patrick Tiernan confirmed premiums surged to roughly five times the level seen in the earliest days of the war and they are rising again now despite the handful of transits that have taken place.
The insurance market does not price announcements. It prices demonstrated, sustained, predictable safety. A handful of transits under contested conditions some dark, some under Iranian procedures, some under US escort does not constitute a stable risk environment that underwriters can price down. Premiums rising despite transits resuming is the market saying something specific: the transits that are happening are not evidence that the strait is safe. They are evidence that some operators are willing to pay extraordinary sums to move cargo that cannot wait any longer.
That is a distress signal dressed as normalisation.

@RoguePOTUSStaff Lets be honest. Most Americans, most Christians, have no problem with this, they are so excited worshipping at the alter of the first trillionaire.
Comments prove it. There wonโt be a prosecution.
ICE took a 31 y/o Haitian asylum-seeker into custody, drove her 30 miles away to a Pittsburgh office, put an ankle monitor on her, then sent her out the front door with no way to get anywhere or contact her family.
She froze to death at a bus stop. It's now ruled a homicide.
@rcsprouljr Naw.
I celebrate the man who puts aside all of that, even while capable of creating wealth, to dedicate his life to work with the poor, the vulnerable, the needy, and help restore them to health. Pastors. Addiction center workers. Drug counselors.
But thatโs me.
@TotemMacro@SallyMayweather Not jealous whatsoever. Money will never, ever fill the deep holes within. Ever.
I (today, not always) have a peace that cannot be bought for any amount of money, a contentment most cannot possibly understand, evenafter losing something far more precious than money.
@AutismCapital Money isnโt the definition of success to me.
I recognize it is the sole measure of success to virtually everyone else.
I also do not think stock prices indicate true success for America, either.
I keep getting asked why is oil not higher? It was expected to be much higher by now, if the Strait remained mostly closed.
I think a combination of
1. Underestimating the supply offsets from inventories which include everything from floating barrels to SPRs to increased pipeline use
2. Boy who cried wolf effect, meaning every week that goes on with no disaster people becomes less concerned
3. Some demand destruction
4. Shifts in refining strategies
5. Belief in repeated imminent deal talk
My view is all of this ended up stretching the timeline, but the Strait needs to open or prices will eventually have to respond in a big way, perhaps when everyone is comfortable with the idea that they never will.
There's a reason muscles only grow under resistance, why diamonds only form under pressure, why the deepest faith almost always emerges from the hardest seasons. Hardship isn't a detour from God's plan โ sometimes it's the very classroom He uses to shape us.
That doesn't make it easy. It doesn't make the heartache lighter or the waiting shorter. But it does mean nothing is wasted. Every difficult step you've taken, every prayer prayed through tears, every morning you got up when staying down felt easier โ God sees it. And He's building something in you that will honor Him for years to come.
