@wmataGM So. I got my first smarttrip card when @wmata made them available. As soon as you let customers move them to mobile devices, I did that. Then last year I was eligible for the senior smarttrip card, leaving money on my “regular”.
@wmataGM …option. I live in the DMV, so getting a check isn’t an option. I keep other physical smarttrip cards for friends and family, but of course you are not able to move my balance to one of those. Solution???
@wmataGM I wait my turn there, only to be told that that office closed four years ago, and that I needed to call your SmarTrip office. See the circle??? Of course no one else can use the regular card on my device since only one device per trip can be used, so that’s not an
@wmataGM I tried to move the balance from the regular one to my senior card online. Nope, not possible. Spent a LONG time on the phone w your folks, they told me I had to come to your L’Enfant office. Finally, nearly 10 mos later, I was able to make a trip there during operating
@wmata The primary labels need to be street name(s)/intersections. As you know, many users are tourists and the labels you’ve chosen are not helpful in the least. Please consider changing this. I well know I’m not the only regular rider with this concern.
@wmata I’ve been riding Metro since it opened. Yes, this is not an exaggeration. The “A”, “B”, “C” etc exit labels in stations is completely nonsensical. The primary way to know your exit is memorization. This is not the way a public transportation system should operate.
@JeffWhiteUVa@UVARowing@NCAA Great story, Jeff! Shared it with my three adult sons, all were high school rowers in Alexandria, one a Hoo, another still rows, and the other coaches…lots of good nuggets for them 💙🧡
@aadelsonESPN (2/2) This morning’s @ESPN article summarizing women’s Sweet Sixteen predictions says that @VandyWBB will be facing @oliviamiles06 and @ndwbb … yet something else that makes me question @espn’s commitment to women’s sports (@itsthebaldgirl … please help!!! ❤️)
@aadelsonESPN Hi Andrea…thanks for your coverage of NCAAT basketball, especially the women’s games. Bc I know you (at least sometimes!) are able to read and respond here, could you please let your @ESPN colleagues know that @oliviamiles06 plays for @tcuwbb and not @ndwbb? (1/2)
@theACC@UVAMensHoops@theACC And then, postgame, @therealboeheim asks De Ridder about playing basketball while growing up in Germany. https://t.co/ySrx9j5tNT.Belgian. Grünloh (whose name some of your folks can’t pronounce) is from Germany. They are two different players 🙄 Again, really?!
@theACC: @therealboeheim has to go. @TaylorTannebaum shines; should not have to put up with, just as two examples in the past 26 hours, him ignoring her questions yesterday, then Friday evening halftime of game 1, calling her “pretty”?? Then her colleagues have to try to cover
@theACC: He’s been awful ever since you hired him, but what does he even give you? During the same halftime, she asks him, “Coach, what changed for @UVAMensHoops ?” Reply: “they started scoring more.” REALLY??? I could have given you that insight for free.
@WNBA@Google And where might we find the game??? @espn Had to really dig around to find @wnba countdown, and ultimately (after missing the first third) finding it was only thanks to fans, not any of you 🤬🤬🤬🤬
@espnW@DisneyPlus Unrelated to this post (and love the show 😍), could you please let your @espn colleague @MrKeithJenkins know that the @WNBA has 13 teams this year 😬 (he published an article yesterday referring to the “12” teams 🙄)
