Una alegría recibir en el Palacio de La Moneda al Presidente @EmmanuelMacron, quien visita nuestro país por primera vez como Jefe de Estado. Hoy pudimos conversar sobre cómo materializar los principios que nos unen para avanzar en mayor crecimiento y justicia social para nuestros pueblos, como la democracia, el multilateralismo, el respeto al derecho internacional y la transición a energías limpias.

También firmamos un acuerdo que crea el primer centro binacional franco-chileno dedicado a la inteligencia artificial, tecnología transformadora en la que somos líderes en Latinoamérica y que debe ser considerada por cada nación que pretenda hablar en serio sobre su desarrollo.

🇨🇱🤝🇫🇷 Un nuevo hito en la larga relación de amistad entre Chile y Francia. El Presidente de la República, Gabriel Boric Font, recibió en el Palacio de La Moneda al Presidente de la República de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, con quien encabezó la suscripción de un acuerdo para la creación del primer centro binacional franco-chileno dedicado a la inteligencia artificial.

I met Dr Bruno Sportisse, CEO, @Inria and his colleagues during my visit along with the Indian delegation to Paris. We discussed ongoing programs between the scientific communities of two countries in ICT domain, potential opportunities in digital science technology & felt that the collaboration should move beyond classical ways of partnership and should come-up with new areas of importance to both countries.

It was agreed that the current engagement including @IFCPAR platforms can be leveraged to impart decisive impact, both in reach and scale, primarily in broad areas of cyber physical systems and digital technologies.

The existing frameworks in broad cyber physical systems in Indian institutions setup by @IndiaDST could be leveraged to develop meaningful engagement with INRIA specifically in their recent initiatives including sustainable digital technology.

The French team expressed interest in India’s digital stack and was keen on partnership with India on co-developing technologies in digital stack for various applications. Both sides decided to work towards setting some high-level agenda for the ‘2026: India-France 🇮🇳-🇫🇷 year of innovation’. It was also decided to convene a meeting of the Program Managers of INRIA with T-Hubs of cyber physical systems of DST.
