@SpursReporter That 10 is the team that won us 62 games in the reg season. Unfortunately I don’t think Barnes, KJ, and Kornet are useable in the play offs. I think Reed can take some mins off Kornet, I hope we can get Dieng who can take mins off Barnes. Question is who can play over KJ.

@kwakujr23 I’m a fan of JQ, feels like something we need. Lowk wanted Carr especially if down the line keeping both Vassel/Julian is too expensive or one needs to be used in a trade. Thoughts on getting both JQ & Reed? could have really down with a shooter.

@TimelySaint I like Gafford or PJ + Kyrie for KJ, Fox, & #20. Doubt we can get Kessler and Allen just doesn’t make sense. John Collins in FA is fine. Jovic isn’t good enough. Do you see how the options are just mid?

Or, the most obvious imo, Fox + #20 (maybe a few 2nds asw) for MPJ (and then Rob Williams in FA). We’d need to flip KJ’s expiring for a PG in that case.

@ucIhype Keep Gakpo and use Frimpong as RW depth until Heki comes back. Then give Abe the Rio path way. Rio-Isak-Diomande & Munoz-Heki-Abe is very good going into 27/28

@TimelySaint Fairs with KJ, makes sense. I get Vassel’s value (hence I want to keep him). Just don’t see us moving off him.

Ultimately, I’m fine with us moving off anyone bar Wemby, Harper and Castle. I just doubt we make any major moves, it doesn’t feel very spursy.

@TimelySaint Sort of agree on Wemby. He’s a centre but a PF who compliments him (can shoot the 3, clean the paint and switch onto forwards). I also think doesn’t need to be just one player having JQ who can help with the defensive side in some games and then a 4 in that Yaxel mould works.

@TimelySaint KJ maybe. Shame he dropped so much in the playoff’s cos that 6MOTY would have boosted his value. Vassel I think is so unlikely, and then who play’s the 3? Vassel?

Agreed on Rui but he’s another body that’s actually playable in playoffs.

Ideally you trade up for a Yax/Morez but I just don’t see that happening.

I think 27/28 is when we need to make the big moves.

I actually wish we’d trade up for Yax and sign Rwill in FA.

@TimelySaint I get that but unless we trade fox we’re a bit stuck. CB needs to develop his jumper but all the signs are there. JQ is a project but Kornet is more than fine in the reg season for him to develop. JQ is the athletic rim protecter…

@TimelySaint I doubt we’ll move on from fox anyways. Simple solution is:

Fox-Castle-Vassel-Rui-Wemby
Harper-Julian-KJ-Barnes-Kornet
Thorton-DJG-CB-Brazile-JQ

Obviously JQ and CB join the second unit by play off times (replacing KJ and Barnes)

@Whosjonesey I get that. I just don’t think the Atlanta pick will be that valuable if they do well in the draft + 27 draft isn’t projected to be that deep so I don’t mind using it if needed. I really love Yax’s fit in this current team tho.
