I'm tired of living a lie.

I've been a @Mets fan my whole life. I only ever wore the Yankee for brand recognition. Starting today, I completely disavow the Yankees organization and choose to live proudly as a Mets fan.

The truth is finally out.

In 2023 after we moved to Texas, he broke the news to me.

His entire online persona was a lie.

I thought about it, day and night, for many weeks.

How could my idol, my HERO, wake up and continue to live a lie like this?

He told me he wasn't okay. This wasn't who he was deep inside.

I didn't know what to do, but I wanted to help.

And then it hit me.

I changed my profile picture here, all those years ago, to show him it's okay.

It's okay to be true to yourself.
It's okay to be who YOU are.
It's okay to be.. A Mets fan.

When he noticed what I'd done, he broke down in tears.

It was clear to me that this meant the world to him.

I put my arm around his shoulder as he sobbed, and said..

"Ya Gotta Believe"...

I'm so honored to have been the push he needed, all those years ago.
