SCOOP: The illegal immigrant who claimed to have been nabbed by ICE while buying diapers — and whose sob story fueled an anti-ICE hunger strike in the Delaney Hall detention center — was actually taken into ICE custody after being arrested for a violent domestic assault, @realDailyWire has learned.

Gabriela Soto claimed that her husband, Martin Soto, 31, of Peru, “was abducted” by ICE and that he was “a loving father, husband, son, church member, worker” when he was taken to Delaney Hall, an ICE detention facility.

Media outlets ran with the story as the hunger strike carried on, leading to weeks of violent riots outside the facility.

But a police report and sources who spoke with The Daily Wire tell a very different story.

Martin Soto “purposely” caused “bodily injury” to an unnamed female victim “specifically by using his hands, both opened and closed to strike” her “in her face, causing minor scratches and cuts to her face and neck,” a copy of the police report obtained by the Oversight Project @ScottMechkowski and shared with The Daily Wire reads.

My chart above addressed that specific claim. You are changing the goalposts to a different subject.

For the record, I don’t deny anthropogenic influence (but I also don’t give a shit because it’s not a crisis and it isn’t worth destroying our economy over).

Most of that increase is due to overnight lows thanks to changes in boundary layer conditions caused by land use and urban sprawl. You don’t see that alarming of a trend in maximums.

The average number of days per year in the U.S. reaching 95°F was ~18% lower during the 60-year period 1961 to 2020 compared to 1901 to 1960.

Can someone answer this question? How is it Florida has no problems with its grid with more people and 4-6 months of hot humid weather, and NY state has one impressive heat wave and the grid could go down? Obviously I know the answer, and so should any rational human being
