This is going to sound really dumb.

But two very simple things have made my days probably 5-10% calmer:

1. Turning off the little red badge on unread notifications on my Messages on iPhone

2. Using https://t.co/eXtWBfl2iU on my desktop to pound through all my texts at the beginning and end of the day

I used to constantly scroll my texts stressing out, worrying I would forget to respond to someone and jumping between Signal, WhatsApp, and Messages.
