I'm having so much fun getting all this data! Ooh, I found out that one time, someone PUNCHED a boulder just because it was in his way!
Hey…do you think I'd be strong enough one day to do that?
Hello? Agents, do you read me? Sorry about that interruption-- looks like we got hacked for a minute, but it looks like nothing's out of place.
The hacker just left this picture behind…
Christopher Nolan explains how he convinced David Bowie to star in The Prestige:
“When I tried to cast him, he said no at first, and I knew his agent, so I called him up and said, ‘Look, I never do this, but I want to ask him again. I want to go and try and convince him. Is there any way to do that?’ He agreed to meet me, and I flew to New York and I met him, and, thankfully, managed to convince him. It’s the only time I’ve ever gone back at somebody who said no, because generally they’ve got their reasons and you don’t really want to convince somebody and then have conflict on-set, but there was just no one who could play the part in the way that he would with the same resonances.
I think there’s a lot in common with Bowie’s reputation and the mythology around him. Tesla, in a way, is the man who fell to Earth. There have been a lot of Tesla projects in development over the years at different studios, he is a fascinating figure but a little hard to take on as a subject, but The Prestige offered this very tangential way of looking at the character, viewed through the prism of magic and deception, a great genius ahead of his time, but also right out of his time, which is why Bowie seemed exactly the guy to play him.
I’ve worked with a lot of very big stars and they’ve all become regular people in my mind, because you get to know them when you work with them. Bowie’s the one exception, the only one who was just as elusive at the end of working with him as he was at the start. The whole crew, everyone, was fascinated by the guy. He was being perfectly friendly, I mean a very lovely guy, but he just carries this weight of everything he has achieved. It’s one of the things I’m proudest of is to be able to say I worked with him.”
Remade all the original tracks and added new ones. After 25 years, my approach to music has evolved. This work reflects that change, blending past passion with today’s sound, challenging me like never before.

David Lynch said on the day he was given the green light to turn Mulholland Drive into a feature film he had zero ideas how to complete the story but that same night he meditated & like a string of pearls one idea after another came to him and he knew exactly what to do
David promised to take Lucy to the moon. You're fulfilling his promise 💔

Yesterday was the 23rd birthday of the first Max Payne. Remembering James. It’s hard not to think of him and his passing when thinking about Max Payne. He was such an important part of it. The one consistent element through all the three games. HBD, Max. Rest in peace, James.
