**Security Alert: Armed Robbers Disguising As DSS: **

There is a new wave of crime recently being experienced by unsuspecting residence.

There are ploys and tactics armed robbers now adopt to gain entry to gated estates and private properties to rob unsuspecting people:

This group is a gang of 4 to 6 fully armed men, and may be more. They’re well dressed and kitted like the men of the Department of State Security-DSS. They appear before the normal estate security men and introduce themselves as DSS to gain entrance to premises. Their aim and mode of operation is to pour chemicals to melt car windshields or screens, open the doors and vandalise cars. They collect brain boxes, side mirrors and other vital parts of cars and storm off. So far no casualties have been recorded but it could easily be the case if they are resisted by victims because they’re heavily armed. Also one cannot imagine the trauma of having encountered such invasions and attacks.

My close friend and her entire neighbours were just recently robbed.
They reported the incident to the police only to be informed that other victims from other estates or locations had reported similar robbery attacks.

I thought I should share this with all in this platform for extra vigilance and caution. I hope that this alert will help our security department take some proactive measures to avert attacks in our zone.
