PM Modi says the government is moving to strengthen the legal framework against exam paper leaks following the NEET controversy.

He said those responsible for the leak have been arrested, while authorities ensured that examinations for over 2.2 million students were conducted at the earliest and results declared promptly.

The Prime Minister also announced that a draft law providing for fast-track courts and stricter punishments has been prepared. Following Cabinet approval, the government aims to introduce and pass the legislation during the ongoing Parliament session.
