@therealjakeeeee@GarrettSprints But with the pacing I’ll say those extreme endurance athletes are running and peaking their VO2. I don’t run unless I’m racing or I have to run to catch a flight or get to the office early. Walking/hiking is much more manageable
@therealjakeeeee@GarrettSprints You’re not wrong, but I’m just saying it’s not impossible. I’m an average dude from Alabama and I managed to put my body through hell and get to where I’m at. Lactic acid is a problem, but with recovery tools like normatec — you can combat lactic acid.
@therealjakeeeee@GarrettSprints It’s possible. Depending on BMI — fat is just stored energy. Once you get rid of the visceral fat you’ll start struggling. You can’t do it forever but you can do it for a month for sure. That guy also isn’t doing 50 miles a day. He had one day at 50 miles maybe.
@therealjakeeeee@GarrettSprints I’ve maintained this over 803 days with no rest day. Lost over 100 lbs when I was at a serious caloric deficit. We weren’t created to sit at a desk all day. I have more proof on Strava with GPS tracking and photos everyday.
