India has its own #Epstein-like figures.
The difference?
In the US, the system hunts them down.
In India, they walk free, protected, celebrated and politically patronised by the BJP.

I met @RahulGandhi bhaiya and Sonia ji, they have assured me to get justice. Rahul Bhaiya told me that he is with me in this fight.

#UnnaoCase#Unnao
The family of the #Unnao rape survivor arrived at 10 Janpath seeking justice.
At a time when institutions have failed them, they are turning to the LoP @RahulGandhi Ji.
In the meeting, they raised three key requests:
- Top legal support to fight Sengar in the Supreme Court
– Relocation to a Congress ruled state due to serious security fears
– A better job for the survivor’s husband.
Rahul ji assured help on all three.
Sonia Gandhi ji was also present. Both leaders promised to do everything possible to ensure the family’s safety and justice.
For the voiceless, Rahul Gandhi remains a rare pillar of hope!

This challenges us to redefine and protect what truly makes us human.

🇮🇳 Field Marshal Kodandera Madappa Cariappa was a towering figure in Indian military history and a symbol of post-independence leadership and integrity. Let’s dwell into his life and his legacy.
🪖 Early Life & Military Beginnings
• Born on 28 January 1899 in Kodagu (Coorg), Karnataka, into a Kodava farming family.
• Joined the British Indian Army in 1919, one of the first Indians to receive a King’s Commission.
• Served in Mesopotamia, Iraq, Syria, Iran, and Burma during World War II, earning the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his service.
🏛️ Post-Independence Legacy
• Became the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army on 15 January 1949, replacing British leadership.
• Played a pivotal role in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, especially in the Western Front operations.
• Oversaw the integration of the Indian Army, transforming it from a colonial force into a national institution.
• Advocated for secularism and unity, famously saying:
“I don’t care a damn if a man is a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Parsi or Christian as long as he plays the game to serve our country well.”
🌏 Diplomatic & Later Years
• Served as India’s High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand from 1953 to 1956.
• Honored with the rank of Field Marshal in 1986, becoming one of only two Indians to hold the five-star rank (the other being Sam Manekshaw).
• Passed away on 15 May 1993 in Bengaluru at the age of 94.
His legacy lives on in the ethos of the Indian Army and in the hearts of those who value discipline, duty, and national service.
