Students practiced using different types of contact forces to create abstract art. How does the direction, strength and friction change how our marble moves through the paint? #rvsed
@Ms_Rizaey@FiresideRVS Hi! We used watercolour paper and just water color paint! We just mixed it prior to get the earthy tones. Thick sharpie once it dries.
Grade 3 studied the artist Paul Klee & his trip to Tunisia. They examined colours he was inspired by on his journey. Students mixed their own Tunisia-inspired colours & painted an abstract piece. They added shapes they noticed while exploring Tunisia online.

Today Grade 3 worked hard at creating wire sculptures. They chose a symbol to represent their family or themselves. It was tricky work but they turned out beautifully! #rvsed@FiresideRVS
Grade 3 is using our measurement skills and our new knowledge of Peruvian textiles to plan create our own textiles out of felt. We love exploring math skills through art! #rvsed@FiresideRVS
Today two of my students came to me with a math game they invented. They took control and taught the rest of the class their game. They did a fantastic job! #rvsed#numeracy
