btw, I'm looking to take on a PhD student in Fall 2024. I'm generally interested in computation, cognition, and development, and particularly interested in intuitive theories (everyday physics and psychology), commonsense reasoning, and the imagination.
Had the privilege of presenting some of my recent findings on intuitive decision making processes and post-choice satisfaction at this years #SPUDM2023! Thank you to the audience for all the insightful questions and support!
New post: "What is a bias?" As behavioural economics faces growing questions about its findings, I revisit the overall meaning of the literature on biases.

📢 Is a significant other in your life a feeder (i.e., someone who offers others food even when they are not hungry or do not express a desire to eat)? If so, @Jane1Ogden and I kindly invite you to take part in our short anonymous survey: https://t.co/yljnn5NA88
Misinformation is often more viral than information. Why? Because it's easier to understand. False, imprecise content is typically written at a lower grade level than true content. That's what we found in this new study (open access): https://t.co/Jp2an97B6y
Excited to be a finalist in this year's Three Minute Thesis (@3MT_official ) competition, where I spoke about my thesis topic "When and Why Intuition Predicts Decision Satisfaction"!
Next steps: Re-record and make it even better! Stay tuned :)
Spent this morning at the University of Surrey annual Psychology PhD Conference! Presented my findings of my recent study - addressing potential reasons why intuitive decision making is predicting satisfaction with everyday choices. #psychology#phd#realworldimpact
Are you interested in intuitive-analytic thinking styles? Do you use the Need for Cognition scale or CRT?
Well, we think we might have a better way to assess intuitive-analytic thinking styles! 🧵
