I'm a mom, advocate for special education and healthcare reform for those with complex chronic conditions. I've been living this life for over 16 years

[Protect TX Fragile Kids @fragilechildTX]

Meet Anna. A single mom of 2, making $26K/yr—barely above poverty. If #HR1 (“Big Beautiful Bill”) passes, she could lose $1,600-$10,000/yr OR MORE in critical support, not to mention life-sustaining #HCBS #Medicaid for child w #disabilities.
This isn’t just policy—it’s survival🧵

Some people have asked why this means so much. Here’s the full picture. 🧵

Rylee isn’t just a teen dreaming of driving — she’s a sister who lives in a home built around love, survival, and caregiving.

Rylee turns 16 this week. She’s waited years to work, help our family, and become independent.

We’re trying to help her raise funds for a safe used car. Can you help us amplify her story?

She wants a car that’s simple and clean,
Nothing too fancy, just safe and lean.
But her dad’s team said they won’t pay,
So we’re asking for help in a loving way:

Rep @reptinderholt questions the CEO of Superior Health for conducting surveillance on legislators #txlege

[Dawn Buckingham @DrBuckinghamTX]

As a physician and Senator, I stood up against big insurance companies every day and fought for patient-centered health care.

I was targeted by Superior because I defended those who were denied care while the company put profits over people and placed elected officials in their crosshairs. Shame on Superior.

I call on Attorney General @KenPaxtonTX to investigate their shameful actions and hold them accountable! #txlege

Listen live: Congressional U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee Considers Spending Cuts and #Medicaid Changes 👇

https://t.co/kZAnF8i5i9

[(((Harry Enten))) @ForecasterEnten]

The politics of cutting Medicaid are so bad it blows my mind.

76% of Americans oppose cuts, which is large enough to be about equal to George Washington's 78% favorable rating.

A majority of Dems, indies, & GOP oppose.

62% of Dems & GOP have been or know someone on Medicaid.

☎️ ACTION ALERT: CALL YOUR U.S. REP NOW
PROTECT #MEDICAID FOR FRAGILE #TEXAS KIDS
❌NO to dangerous cuts w/o real reforms
Broad cuts are a sledgehammer, not a scalpel. This bill has no protections—just massive, blunt cuts that put vulnerable lives at risk.

[Protect TX Fragile Kids @fragilechildTX]

Here’s what’s missing:
🚫 NO requirement that cuts come from healthy populations.
🚫 NO requirement that cuts come from reducing fraud, waste, or abuse.
🚫 NO protections for people with disabilities, medically fragile children, or the elderly.

Barefoot but unstoppable👣
#Texas families went to @JohnCornyn & @tedcruz offices to say: NO to #HR1. NO to #Medicaid cuts.
Cornyn: Refused our letter.
Cruz: Met our kids, took ltr. (Thx, security 👠)
