(Kinda) Cheap Plug Ahead
Two years ago, this was my car after I got hit by an impaired/distracted driver. This was before I worked at @MADD_California but now I do and truly understand the fear these accidents cause.

@detroitnews featured Michigan resident Rana Abbas Taylor on its front page today, chronicling her advocacy for anti-drunk driving tech on all cars and her trip to DC for MADD’s candlelight vigil last night. Her journey began when her sister Rima, brother-in-law Issam, and their three children, Ali, Isabella and Giselle, were killed by a drunk driver on Jan. 6, 2019. Thank you Rana for being a warrior in this fight. #HALTAct
It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
Did you know that driving deaths have increased to 13K since 2007? It is why we are partnering with #autodealers across #CA with our new #Driving Change year-long campaign. Be the change to No More Victims® https://t.co/zb8HABxfVw
Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🍀🍀🍀 Celebrate safely by planning ahead: DON’T drink and drive. Use a rideshare service, public transportation, or a designated sober driver to arrive home safely.
