@graceblakeley Removing structural inequality would help (taxing private schools being one example) but ensuring available housing supply is the key...giving the younger generation a stake in society. That includes social housing. Imperative the government delivers on its commitments here.

@graceblakeley I'm not a defender of the economic model that since 1979 has delivered ever widening inequality but some assumptions here are flawed. Our first house was bought when mortgage rates were 14%. After 10 years we had negative equity and had to effectively 'start again.'
