59 years ago, approximately at the posting of this comment and accounting for time zone differences, the #USSLibertyc's radios were jammed on both @USNavy tactical and international maritime distress frequencies as the ship came under attack by unmarked @IDF Mirages and Mysteres.
Sixteen hours later, after Sixth Fleet aircraft were recalled while we were still under attack and calling for help and after the life rafts we dropped over the side in anticipation of abandoning ship were deliberately machine gunned in the water, the #USSMassey and #USSDavis appeared out of the morning mist.
The Sixth Fleet finally arrived with the assistance they had promised us in 15 minutes, but they came 15 hours and 45 minutes late.
Not to be outdone, the US government has been waiting 14,245 days and counting to investigate the attack.

#RememberThe34
59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF.
Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
‼️🛑I honestly hate to say it, but Thomas Massie is literally putting his life on the line. And I actually believe he knows this quite well.
It makes his stance even more heroic.
His decision to commemorate the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on its 59th Anniversary, after having been defeated by Jewish money in Congress, is the single most courageous move I have ever seen a sitting American politician make during my lifetime.
It's a stuck up middle finger against 'Israel' and all it stands for, for the following reasons:
💥 the deliberate murder of American servicemen in plain sight by the Israeli air force is solidly proven, which means that the Ziønist influencers have zero arguments to present to counter it;
💥 he is doing it without this being in any way 'necessary', or 'called for', as 58 anniversaries have already passed unnoticed and unmentioned;
💥 he will have actual survivors from the attack present, which is a feature one can thing bring nothing up against;
💥 the effect of this act of insurgency is bound to create powerful ripples on social media, even if mass media try to ignore or downplay it.
Many liberals on the Democrat side will remain silent. Most of those are on the 'has the right to exist and defend itself' boat anyway. Which, I should take another opportunity to say, is utterly fucked up anyway.
Some of them will nevertheless get a powerful wake-up call, and realize that standing up against oppression takes precedence and priority over ideological differences in this time frame.
The main effect however, will take place on the Republican side. For most Republicans, the army is sacrosanct. Many of them have never heard of the USS Liberty tragedy. Many will truly be shaken to the core.
All I can do is pray for Thomas Massie.
And here is what I would say to him if I could see him face to face: "Massie, this is the courageous act of a real man, a true patriot, and a genuine revolutionary. You are a Lion among men. May God be with you."
The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
I am proud that my representative, @RepSaraJacobs was one of only two members of Congress (with Ro Khanna), who voted to strip language that would hand over our national sovereignty to Israel.
To the rest of you, you just committed treason against the United States of America.

BREAKING
U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie:
“Just withhold foreign aid to Israel for a month and they’ll stop bombing their neighbors — instant peace.”
“Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest welfare recipient from American tax payers.”
They are attempting to merge the IDF and the U.S. military because they know that the U.S. military isn’t going to want to open fire on American citizens
Around 3:00 AM on June 2, approximately 10 Israeli soldiers raided the family home of 20-year-old American citizen Sama Safi in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank and took her into custody.
Safi is a second-year student and painter at Birzeit University. She was detained alongside three other female students—Natalie Abu Diya, Jolan Abu Awwad, and Laila Khalil—as part of a broader overnight sweep across the West Bank that resulted in at least 31 Palestinian detentions.
She is being held without formal charges. U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen has publicly condemned the arrest, noting that the Israeli government failed to inform her family or the U.S. Embassy of her location or the reasoning behind her abduction. Van Hollen and grassroots campaigns are demanding that the U.S. government secure her immediate release.
Matt Brooks bragging that the Republican Jewish Coalition spent millions to buy a congressional seat in Kentucky… but if you observe the same thing, you’re antisemitic.
These are the four college girls, including one American citizen, the IDF kidnapped in the middle of the night from their homes and threw into their torture dungeons.

Israel has a policy called “administrative detention” that allows them to kidnap Palestinians and imprison them for 6 month increments without any charges whatsoever. These holdings can drag out for years.
Over 3,000 Palestinians were being held on administrative detention in Israeli prisons on October 7. That’s why Hamas took all those Israelis back to Gaza. To exchange for their release.
But do you see how that works? When Israel kidnaps people and holds them for months and years on end, they are simply “prisoners on administrative detention.” But when Hamas does it, they are “hostages.”
On June 8, 2026, I’ll speak on the floor of the House to honor and memorialize the brave crew of the 🇺🇸 USS Liberty who died and were wounded in an unprovoked attack by 🇮🇱 Israel on June 8, 1967. Catch my speech on @cspan.

Let's decode what actually happened here.
Axios reported that Trump exploded at Netanyahu. Called him "fucking crazy." Said "you'd be in prison if it weren't for me." Said "everybody hates you now."
The journalist is Barak Ravid again, we talked about it. Israeli. Based in Washington. Covers the Netanyahu-US relationship for Axios, and every latest deals to calm the markets.
This is the same journalist who wrote the exact same type of story about Biden. There is literally a book chapter about this pattern. It is called "Fuming Biden." The same reporter. The same format. The same function. Different president.
Now watch the response.
Mark Levin, a close ally of both Trump and Netanyahu, did not deny the story. He demanded an FBI investigation into who leaked it. When your defense is "this should never have leaked" instead of "this never happened," you have confirmed the call happened.
But here is the part that matters.
Why would Levin, a friend to BOTH men, confirm the most explosive account of their relationship ever published?
Because it serves both.
Trump gets to look tough. Not Netanyahu's puppet. Willing to put Israel in its place. His base loves it.
Netanyahu gets cover. He "paused" the Beirut strike, but not because Iran threatened him. Because his "friend" asked him to. His base loves it too.
And look at what actually changed on the ground. Nothing.
Israel cancelled the Beirut strike. But the ground invasion of Lebanon continues. The IDF is still miles deep. A soldier died today from a Hezbollah drone. Netanyahu's office said: "position unchanged."
The performance was perfect. Trump gets the headline. Netanyahu gets the cover. The deal gets another 48 hours of "progress." Markets get a reason to breathe.
And the war continues exactly as planned.
This is the same playbook. Every time public opinion turns against the war, a story appears showing the US president is "furious" with Israel. It creates the illusion of restraint while changing nothing.
Biden was "furious" for 14 months. The war never stopped.
Trump is "furious" now. The ground invasion is expanding.
The visible game is: Trump controls Netanyahu.
The real game is: both men are performing for their audiences while the machine moves forward.
Nothing has been signed. Nothing has stopped. The war is not winding down. It is being managed.
Neither one controls the other. They walk arm in arm. Know that.
The thing about libel is it has to be untrue.
A Jewish baby born today in a West Bank community will have full rights in Israel, a vote in national elections, and access to civilian courts; a Palestinian baby born in that same community will have no democratic rights, tight restrictions on their movement, frequent harassment from settlers, and no access to justice beyond what Israel’s unaccountable military courts mete out.
That’s apartheid. It’s just literally apartheid.
If you think apartheid is really evil, such that it’s a terrible thing to say about a country, well, you’re right, it is. That’s why we have an issue here.
The US has refused to host Iran's national team for the World Cup even though they have to play all their games there
Which means they're based in Tijuana and will have to fly on the day of their games
I've never heard of this kind of discrimination in World Cup history
The situation unfolding right now is the perfect example of why the majority of the American people have either outright rejected or are at least requestioning the US-Israeli relationship.
Currently, there is an obvious divergence between the US interests and the goals of the Israeli government.
We desperately need a deal to end this disastrous war and save the global economy. Trump obviously wants that at this point and has already said Israel was forbidden from attacking Lebanon. (You may recall every pro Israel account on here claiming this as proof that Trump calls the shots). The ceasefire that the President of the United States of America wants depends on Israel not attacking southern Lebanon.
So, Israel announces they’re doing it. The best Trump can say is no boots on the ground and he won’t even hold on that.
This is a country whose very survival let alone ability to conduct any of these elective wars is completely dependent on US tax payer money, and support. We unconditionally support them even as they undermine our nation.
This is beyond intolerable. You can call all of us every name in the book but it’s just too obvious.
