Coming Wednesday on the LA Times website is a new favorite story. La Canada has seven baseball players playing football, including ace pitcher Joe Bell. They are what high schools looked like years ago, best friend next to best friend. Caring about having fun and playing in the street free time. Enjoy.
If you're a coach and your upperclassmen are hazing the underclassmen.
Your ass should be fired.
Upperclassman
Your job is to help the underclassman.
Not make their lives miserable.
They need to trust you.
They need to admire your work ethic and maturity.
Your stupid ass hazing and initiations aren't making anyone better or tougher.
Stop being an idiot.
Be a leader.
@theblockspot None of them were ready to be NFL starters when they were drafted. Probably zero should have need even 2nd round picks. Teams panic and draft by fear.
@Realrclark25 He needs to stop letting his Mom be so involved in these things. She is not his agent. At some point it’s going to cost him in the locker room and on the field that Mom is telling him what he can and can’t do . He’s supposed to be a grown man.
@golferinatlanta He’s managing to get Diaz right. His velocity is fine. It’s his command that needs work. Slider is a little flat. Has to see if he can work that out. If not, go somewhere else.
