@Sid_Seixeiro At least three teams will pass on Nemec and Jiricek this year for a few middle six forwards and we will wonder why a few years from now too.
@Sebhockey24@AZadarski Hughes was just barely ahead of Kakko in his draft year, but he's probably the closest in terms of matching Wright's scouting report. Wright has been an exceptional player since he entered the OHL 15 and he's been a stud ever since. He's going to be a star.
@Sebhockey24@AZadarski Wright would go over Power, Lafreniere, Hughes, Dahlin, and Hischier in each of their years. He's far more highly anticipated than any of those guys in their draft years.
@sg2waugh@Cernovich The idea that breastfeeding is inconvenient is a uniquely American idea. America has too many anti-family policies. Most civilized countries have universal maternity leave benefits.
@TonyMarinaro They'll get a good one at any of those spots. Jiricek could be end up being the best player of the class if they end up picking 3rd, he has the highest ceiling of just about any prospect.
@EricMacramalla Playing defense in the NHL is very hard. Probably needs at least 50+ more games at the AHL level. I'm inclined to say that he would be an even better NHLer if he played 100 games for Laval.
@Nicolas60559533 @EricEngels Too soon, in my opinion. They don't need him if they're rebuilding. Undersized forwards benefit from more time in development. College is a great place for fitness & conditioning in preparation for the pro game.
@TonyMarinaro If player development really is a focus of this new management team, then allowing Ducharme to stay on would be a massive failure. The younger core of this team is not benefiting from being demolished every game, & players you are trying to trade aren't helping their own value.
@HabsChronicle Very unlikely you're hitting an NHLer of Lehkonen's calibre with a pick after #20. That's true even for the Habs, so think twice about that trade.
@GavinNewsom Californians are already taxed almost as high as Canadians without having universal healthcare. How are you going to keep your tax base if you need to raise revenues to do it? What other services will need to be cut?
