Eva Mireles and Irma Garcia were two of the greatest teachers Uvalde, TX has ever known. Their classroom was full of fun, growth, giggles, teamwork, and, most of all, love. Their legacy will live in the hearts of our community forever. #uvaldestrong
florida high school class president zander moricz was told by his school that they would cut his microphone if he said “gay” in his grad speech, so he replaced gay with “having curly hair.” i am in awe

Having had Shelby Foote as my guide into Civil War history, it's not surprising that I was into the CW enough to fly to G'burg for a tour, but when the lecturer referenced the Lost Cause myth, I asked what that was. I had been immersed in Lost Cause (and I grew up in Minnesota)
@robertkaplinsky For me, the presenter is usually way more important than the topic. Maybe a 1 minute video from the presenter would give a sense of whether the presentation will be dynamic and interesting.
@robertkaplinsky The word count limitation for a session description is a problem. Then attendees give you critical feedback solely because the topic of your session wasn't what they expected.

@RepPeteStauber You've set up a straw man here, and this is gaslighting to pretend that school board members and superintendents in your district are not being intimidated with terroristic threats.
What Minnesota school districts have publicly posted the priority standards or power standards that their staff came up with? #powerstandards#prioritystandards
@MrJoeMilliano me: [frustrated] I literally gave that instruction 6 times in 3 different modes
also me: [in meeting, mind wandering, missing at least 50% of information]
@GalvinAmandaL@PearDeck I used to absolutely hate how the "i" looked in the phonetical "benish" but the confidence of the spelling here was fascinating to me
