Dem candidates were competing in five statewide elections in Louisiana. Their combined totals:
for Gov: 29%
for LG: 20.5%
for SoS: 30%
for AG: 31%
for Tresurer: 32%
... oof.
No matter how restfully I sleep for the foreseeable future, I cannot recommend @leesasleep because their operations for delivering their products and their customer service are so bad. #rantover
I get a notice on May 3 that my pillows have shipped and will be delivered May 9. Thanks for “expediting,” @leesasleep. On scheduled mattress pickup on May 4, back up white glove no shows to pick up old mattress.
I call @leesasleep to ask why, and the person tells me they cancelled because another Chad Copeland reported that he had never ordered anything recently from them and because the company had to have their fraud unit investigate.
In other words, @leesasleep combined the accounts of another Chad Copeland and me. No one could explain why. None of it makes sense. And I’m still stuck with an extra mattress and no pillows.
@leesasleep apologizes and offers to have their back up white glove remove the old mattress on Thursday. They also refund white glove charge. Yes, they had still charged me for it. They also say they’ll expedite my pillows to me (because they forgot them in the order).
On Monday, May 1 (day of white glove delivery), I receive a @leesasleep mattress in a box on my porch, courtesy of fedex. FedEx driver gone. I manage to get the 140 pound mattress up two flights of stairs myself and remove the old one. Then I call @leesasleep back.
On April 29, I call asking where my mattress is. @leesasleep tells me that my order is on hold because they don’t deliver in Washington, DC. When I ask why no one told me this, @leesasleep says, we don’t know. So we decide to use their backup white glove delivery.
A thread on why you should not spend your money with @leesasleep and why @wirecutter should remove them from being a recommended mattress.
On April 3, I order a mattress from them with white glove service (they pick up the old mattress and set up the new one on your bed).
