@InaYuchannel slow burn. focus of the movie is on exploring the backrooms and engaging with the atmosphere. narratively a little weak with the therapy plotline, but solid overall. a very fun watch
@jeff49582026590@ubuto23@NEEMOAHTOAD@MikeDrucker unoriginal feels so reductive to use here. he took a basic premise and expanded the world beyond its 4chan scope, unbelievably so. to describe the world he’s building as unoriginal because he didn’t come up with the simple backrooms concept itself… yeah, feels wrong
@Girotinium@angelpurrp the second you call someone a simp is the second you reveal your perspective is built on the internet and not through experiences with real people
Just saw Backrooms. It was creepy, not scary. Sound design was amazing. I think it was a metaphor for how we create our own suffering by refusing to change, getting stuck in destructive loops and ultimately letting our worst impulses cannibalize ourselves.
@Nittanylion02 if you don’t appreciate the backrooms, you won’t enjoy it. the characters and plot are a vehicle to explore the environment, saying it has no redeeming qualities as opposed to j saying it wasn’t for you is wild.
people need to stop being so objective because it was not that bad
@TexasGrl7998@lordnish_@RIPYaksbeard@jacyano1 this context changes considering when he knows at this point that this entire time the person he has been with is NOT the real nikki.
this is not an arguable point
@jacyano1@lordnish_ dawg, he became the villain immediately during the restaurant scene. yes, he didn’t know the wish would come true. AND THEN HE KNEW THE WISH CAME TRUE and it was NOT the real nikki who was in love with him.
yall watch movies with your eyes closed
