This is John Mills, killed earlier today heading into Valhalla to work at the @PGAChampionship
Mr. Mills’ family released this photo to the media, noting “he was enjoying his time at Valhalla while working security. He liked to stay busy in retirement. We love him and will miss him.” 💔
So much inconsistency with player protection. If the @NCAA truly wants to protect players, make them wear mouthpieces. Those help prevent concussions right? We are trying to reduce concussions, right?
How about being able to review throwing a player to the ground when ob?
@DustinEtter22@Vmay21 It wasn’t a fair catch signal. It was an invalid fair catch signal. Any waving motion that isn’t pointing is an invalid signal. That is exactly what he did and when you do that you cannot advance the ball.
@iowalaker6@arnold_rory@ChadLeistikow@ScottDochterman Any waving signal that does not meet the requirements of Article 2 (a valid signal). That is not ambiguous at all. Unless you are saying the rule defining the signal for a fair catch is ambiguous.
Roughing the passer and targeting seems to be similar to trying to understand a charge in basketball. There is zero consistency.
I understand protecting players…but if that were the case, you would make wearing a mouth guard mandatory and throw flags for that too!
