This is Collet Ncube, the magistrate used today by Mnangagwa’s despotic regime to deny bail to opposition leader Jameson Timba and 64 prodemocracy activists.
It is important to know who these accessories to oppression are, as one day they should be held accountable for their illegal actions!
RETWEET and make Collet Ncube very famous!
The continued detention of Nicolle Chabata, a student arrested with the Avondale 78, is a pressing concern as schools reopen tomorrow. She should be sitting for her exams, not languishing in custody. She has a constitutional right to bail and we demand her immediate release, along with all political prisoners. #FreeAvondale78
🟣This is a photograph of Zimbabwe’s Cabinet at Independence in 1980. @ZANUPF_Official insists that someone who was in Govt 44 years ago must violate the Constitution and extend his presidency beyond the 2-term limit. The same people did a coup on Robert Mugabe for staying in power too long.
As we speak, the country is reeling from 49% extreme poverty, over 87% unemployment and triple digit hyperinflation. The country, once branded a breadbasket in the region, is now a basket case as the masses are being fed by grain handouts from China, Japan and Russia.
We need new leaders. 🇿🇼
I recently spoke with some European ambassadors and diplomatic officers in Zimbabwe who were misled by Mnangagwa’s diplomatic runners.
They were told that Mnangagwa had no involvement in the crackdown and that the activists jailed without bail would be released today.
I made it clear to them that they were either naive or clueless about Mnangagwa's true nature.
Today, the diplomats received their answer: Namatai and her abducted colleagues were denied bail.
I want to publicly tell these European ambassadors that you are wasting your time trying to appease Mnangagwa.
Unless you have decided to give him a free pass, you will end up disappointed like many before you if you listen to the lies being whispered by Mnangagwa’s diplomatic runners.
You are dealing with a man whose pursuit of power has always been fueled by a desire to loot, plunder, and eliminate anyone who stands in his way.
It is crucial for diplomats and other international actors to approach their engagement with Mnangagwa’s regime with a healthy degree of skepticism and to seek out independent sources of information and analysis.
By relying solely on Mnangagwa’s diplomatic runners in trying to understand the current madness, you risk being manipulated and misinformed, which will ultimately undermine your efforts to promote human rights and democracy in Zimbabwe.
The red wine is indeed nice, remember that it is being bought with money plundered and looted through corrupt tenders!
Enough said!
They have yet again arrested @Zinasuzim President @EmmanuelSitima7 at RGM Airport. The regime is petrified by ordinary citizens who are yearning for change. They want to run the country as if it’s their tuckshop by instilling fear. @PoliceZimbabwe is instilling people to act.
Dear @SADC_News, if the hosting of a SADC comes with arbitrary arrests, abductions & torture of citizens, then you must not have the summit happening. It’s pointless to have a few days’ event leaving permanent scars on citizens and communities. Your @edmnangagwa must be stopped!
We have just been informed that Zinasu President Emmanuel Sitima has been arrested at Harare international airport. He was whisked away by 10 agents of the regime.
REPOST FOR AWARENESS!!!
The Zimbabwe National Students Union @Zinasuzim president Emmanuel Sitima @EmmanuelSitima7 has been taken by around 10 state agents at Harare International Airport recently renamed Robert Mugabe International Airport.
He was coming from Victoria Falls where he was attending the 5th African Philanthropy Conference.
Two days ago 4 activists (@namataik_, @robohchere, @cdegwenzi and Vusumuzi Moyo) were taken in similar fashion on their way to Victoria falls to attend the same 5th African Philanthropy Conference and were brutally tortured for 8 hours.
This crackdown is done by @edmnangagwa’s @ZANUPF_Official government ahead of the @SADC_News summit to be held on 17 August 2024.
ZIMBABWE WILL BE FREE!!!

This is Bruce Moyo, the youngest Councilor in Zimbabwe representing ward 22 Nkulumane, Bulawayo.
He was arrested today and the charge is yet to be established.
He committed no crime but was taken from home by state agents.
RETWEET to save a life.Solidarity is all we have !
Zimbabwean state agents have arrested the President of the Zimbabwe National Students Union, Emmanuel Sitima, at Robert Mugabe International Airport.
He was grabbed by ten state agents who took him to an unknown location.
The corrupt regime in Zimbabwe has embarked on a crackdown against civil society and pro-democracy activists ahead of the SADC summit starting on the 17th of August.
This incident, coupled with the reported crackdown on civil society and pro-democracy activists, indicates a worrying trend of repression and disregard for basic human rights in the country.
The timing of these arrests and torture, just days before the SADC summit, suggests that the Zimbabwean government is attempting to silence critical voices and hinder the free exchange of ideas during this important regional meeting.
Dear ZRP
If Namatai is not in your custody, then she is being held against her will by criminals. Please find her. She is a young woman and is vulnerable.
If she is in your custody, just advise and calm us down. It is imperative that you do so. This is not Rhodesia.
13 activists including Hon. John Houghton, former Mayor George Masendu, Farai Mageva and others have been arrested for peacefully protesting with placards demanding the release of Hon. Timba and others. They are currently detained at Kariba Police Headquarters. This is Zimbabwe under Mnangagwa. The constitution has been suspended! The fight is on. Homeland or death! #ZanuPfMustGo
