Loss to start off the week on MNQ. Targeted Asia Lows.

Still getting used to trading futures as I've only recently started trading it. Would appreciate any advice with entries as it move differently to how I'd enter on fx

That was a great setup you had marked up. Getting wicked out right before the price hit your target is frustrating. NQ / MNQ often wick to take liquidity before it makes its move. Sometimes a wider stop loss helps. Or, look for a reentry if you like to keep your stops tight.

Also, MNQ may offer crazy wicks that don't happen on NQ. Be prepared for that as well.

I've been missing sooo many good setups on gold & mnq on the M1 because of having work meetings during ny session. Wonder if anyone has any advice on how they've worked around this if they work a 9-5?

CISD
- Asia (h1)
- London (h1/m30/m15)
- New York (m15/m5)

Candle Closures
- h4 closure
- h1 closure at POI

poi is more important on the h1 than it is on h4

Stayed away from NQ & ES all-time high PA.

I took a counter trade long on gold this morning because the setup was clean. Only risked $100.

MGC: NY Session

Setup:
• 5M / 15M MSS
• Rejected 5M FVG
• Took continuation trade off of 5M OB
