@Malachians Always going to be a gamble getting in a manager like RA mid-season who plays a system totally unsuitable to the squad, esp with no time to train them.
Even with training, you still have defenders (exc Yoro) far too slow to play 3 at the back, plus no natural wing-backs either.

A few days later I got a call from their cancellations dept, offered same package for £55!

Play hardball Peter, when my contact (£65 bb/TV/phone + Sky/TNT sports) ended I spoke to a human over the phone, they offered same package for £100.
I refused saying I wanted same terms, they came down a bit but I didn't accept...

@richardowenLD @Malachians Because of the cash situation I don't see it being a short-term pain thing. Plus RA only signed a deal until June '27, so that puts a lot of pressure on getting next summer's window spot on.

@richardowenLD @Malachians RA doesn't get a free pass, he needs to tweak his system to suit the squad until he signs the players he needs, currently too many square pegs in round holes, even Martinez isn't suited to this system, not enough pace to cover the space behind the wing back
