@PotandPaddle But the food. Oh my. I have no words to describe how wonderful it was. Chicken and sausage jambalaya, green beans, and potato salad. Best jambalaya ever. I will drive the 3.5 hours just for that. 5 stars for the food and for the employees. Thank y’all for the meal.

@PotandPaddle I ate at the Covington restaurant 11/15/2025. I was in town for the Arkansas/LSU game, but currently live in Pensacola. When in Louisiana, one must eat the local cuisine. I was wearing a Razorback shirt that started a great conversation with the chef.

@MihaiF89 @TerribleMaps Arkansas was part of the Louisiana Purchase. From the French. The spelling is French related, but the pronunciation comes from Quapaw Tribe and their language. Arkansas became a state in 1836. Kansas not until 1861. If anything, Kansas should be pronounced “Kan-saw.”
