While coming from my Norway trip ,
At Schiphol Airport I noticed citizens of the US, Canada, EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and even Malaysia walking straight through automated eGates.

No queues. No officer. No questions.

India was missing from that list.

We stood at least an hour before our turn came to see the officer.

It was a small reminder that GDP headlines and geopolitical chest-thumping are one thing.
Global trust in a country’s documents, institutions and migration profile is another.

A passport is not just a travel document.

Same Rajesh Exports has been caught in a scam worth ₹15.5 Lakh Crores.

This is alarming, BRS Gov brought them in Telangana in 2022 and signed a 24,000 crore MOU.

Do Govts not do background checks while signing MoUs worth crores?

अरे भाई चित्रा जी आप बिल्कुल भी पढ़ती लिखती नहीं है! अच्छा नहीं लगता ये सब जो आप कर रही हैं।
जाकर आँकड़े देखिए। मोदी सरकार से पहले, UPA के शासन में दौरान, 10 सालों में, मनमोहन सिंह जी के नेतृत्व में भारत की विकास दर औसतन 7-7.7% रही है जबकि मोदी जी की नाकाम सरकार में यह दर ज्यादातर समय 5.5-6% से ज़्यादा नहीं हो पायी है।

जिस 2025-26 की 7.7% की विकास दर को लेकर आप फूली नहीं समा रही हैं वो पूरी तरह जॉबलेस ग्रोथ है। यानी मोदी ऐसा विकास कर रहे हैं जिसमें नौकरियां सृजित नहीं हो रही हैं जबकि मोदी 2 करोड़ नौकरियों का वादा करके सत्ता में आए थे। इस बेईमानी और नाकामी पर कुछ बोलिए!

महंगाई अनियंत्रित हो रही है, डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपया अपने सबसे खराब दौर में है, जीडीपी में मैनुफैक्चरिंग की हिस्सेदारी या तो घटती है या वहीं रुकी रहती है! गरीब को ना दूध मिल रहा है, ना ही किसी किस्म का प्रोटीन, पूरा देश पोषण की कमी से जूझ रहा है।नेट प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश अपने निम्नतम को छू रहा है! भारत के उद्योगपति यहाँ का पैसा निकालकर विदेशों में ले जा रहे हैं और आप कह रही हैं कि भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था मजबूत है!

शर्म आनी चाहिए आपको, आप एक ऐसी सरकार का समर्थन कर रही हैं जो इस देश के लोगों के साथ हर तरह से अन्याय कर रही है!

शीला जी क्या हुआ जहां आग लगी है आप वहां पहुंची या नहीं.. खाने पीने के स्टाल लगे या नहीं.. मतलब छोटी छोटी घटनाओं का भी उन्हें दर्द होता था।

आज मुझे लगता है लोगों ने दूसरों का दर्द महसूस करना बंद कर दिया है।

one thing i want to say.

many people find him appealing today. some even think he has undergone a dramatic transformation over the last few years.

i am not sure that is entirely true.

if you go back and listen to his speeches from 2009 or 2010 and compare them with what he says today, the core themes remain remarkably similar. his emphasis on social justice, equality, institutional accountability, economic inclusion and constitutional values has been fairly consistent.

his style may have evolved. he may communicate better today. he may appear more confident, more relaxed and more effective in connecting with people. public perception has certainly changed.

but that is different from saying that his politics or principles have fundamentally changed.

in many ways, what has changed is not the person but the audience.

people who once dismissed him are now paying closer attention. ideas that were previously ignored are now being heard. positions that were once mocked are now being debated seriously.

whether one agrees with him or not is a separate matter.

but if you look at his public record over a long period of time, there is a strong argument that the central values he speaks about today are the same values he was speaking about more than a decade ago.

perhaps the biggest change is that more people are finally listening.
