I think it’s fair to say that it’s been standard left wing opinion for a while now that the liberal world order has used the holocaust as the sin-eater event of world history to absolve themselves of their responsibility in enabling nazi germany/ww2, position their own respective genocides as pre-historical “water under the bridge,” and justify support for israel.
If anyone in power admitted that other genocides are still happening and that their present tactics of state building and repression are the same as the nazis, they would have to admit that they didn’t solve human rights forever and obtain a permanent mandate of heaven to rule over the Earth by defeating History’s Main Antagonists. It would be ideological suicide to admit that they didn’t solve the historical question of statehood in a global system.
i feel like homie bhaba is trying to soften what is a truism of colonial struggle in this foreword, i can't disagree with fanon's conclusions they are just 'icky' to the academy types

@DrugGovoruna@Kali_de_Armas he was, those businesses then fail to exist and their workers no longer have a paycheck, the ultimate goal of a capitalist economy is monopoly anyway so the exploitation only gets worse as the number of firms consolidate
