@SteveR44487@MarcoFoster_@MaryLTrump@WajahatAli She’s an American citizen, born & bred. She’s not an elected official. She’s exercising her 1A right to speak. Not breaking laws. To where should she be “pushed out”??
The problem with uneducated people like you is that you don’t realize that YOU are the ones who are un-American.
Mary Trump: “Don’t waste our time running as a Democrat if you are not running on Supreme Court reform. And I don’t mean reform around the edges. I mean you’re gonna add 4-6 seats immediately. You’re going to implement term limits. You’re going to put in an ethics criteria and you’re going to make sure many of these most egregious decisions are undone”
Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
BREAKING: Veteran journalist Jim Acosta is vindicated in the worst way possible as Trump’s latest outburst proves he IS a danger to democracy and a free press!
Back in Trump’s first term, the former CNN anchor was among the first journalists to sound the alarm that Trump’s antipathy towards journalists presented a serious threat to democracy, a free press, and basic truth.
Naturally, the MAGA world lost its collective mind, accusing Acosta of grandstanding, making it all about himself, and being a rude, overdramatic showboat.
But Trump just spent years proving Acosta right on a daily basis, and it's gotten demonstrably worse during his second term, culminating in yesterday’s angry, sexist attack on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins before she’d even asked her a question.
Acosta posted the receipts last night, resurfacing the infamous 2018 press conference clip where Trump personally berated him and insulted him personally on live television:
“CNN should be ashamed of itself, having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN… You are the enemy of the people.”
Acosta’s question that day was about the Russia investigation, one that Trump clearly didn’t want to entertain. He told him to sit down, and launched into his first major “enemy of the people” rant against the press.
“When I called out Trump years ago for being a danger to democracy, a free press, and truth itself, I was accused of making myself the story and showboating,” Acosta wrote today. “How did things turn out? Trump is all of those things. Tonight, the free press is very much in danger in America. Wake up!”
Like a modern day Cassandra, he was right then, and he’s even more right now, and he should be heard.
Trump never stopped attacking the free press, and has only intensified his derision for journalism, and disrespect for the truth, and accountability.
The pattern of screaming “fake news” whenever he hears something he doesn’t like and launching ad hominem attacks on reporters as professionals and human beings has been part of the playbook since day one, and will continue to be so if we let it.
History has proven Jim Acosta correct. If the United States no longer has a free press, it’s not the same country. That must not happen.
If you agree, like and share this post.
Bill Pulte is a Trump loyalist with zero intelligence experience. The only relevant experience he has is going after Donald Trump’s enemies.
Pulte is a puppet for Trump. It’s as simple as that, and Trump just put him in charge of thousands of intelligence personnel, including the CIA, the FBI, the DEA, and the broader United States intelligence community.
It’s extraordinarily dangerous, and Bill Pulte cannot be trusted to be the Acting Director of National Intelligence.
The political class knows how to turn every campaign into a spectacle of personality and scandal. What it does not want is a race about power.
In Maine, Graham Platner is trying to force that conversation: who has power, who abuses it, and whether working people can organize enough of it to fight back.
David Sirota reports from the campaign trail ⬇️

@TheTNHoller I looked into Platter. I didn't find violence or crimes against children. I found a lot of Republican smoke.
I think Platner should continue. And, I think he will likely win.
Susan Collins has done nothing but empower Trump. She should retire, but she loves power too much.
@ericdchristen@TheTNHoller The allegations are from his ex girlfriend who’s now a right wing operator.
When Republicans stop voting for pedos, cheaters, & wife beaters, then you guys can start throwing rocks.
MAINE VOTER ON FOX: “Platner is the best candidate by far. Probing into the minutiae of his personal relationships when you don't do that for any other candidate is ridiculous."
@leftcoastbabe@PamelaTyrrell I’m not a leftist but I agree about your phrasing. You’re giving the media exactly what they want. It’s juicier to talk about Dems not liking Platner than it is to talk about Paxton or Collins.
Try “Platner has been open about his past, I support his policies, let voters decide.”
@TimmcDermott13@JayZ0verrat3d LMFAO Trump is falling asleep every day in the middle of cabinet meetings & on live tv. Joe Biden didn’t even come close to Sleepy Don!
LMAO Trump passed out on live TV during Cabinet meeting. The man who called Biden ‘Sleepy Joe’ is now Sleepy Don 2.0 — except Biden never did this shit. Pathetic.
The screwworm program wasn't charity, it was a $10 million fence that kept a billion-dollar problem from eating our own livestock alive. That's the thing with most USAID funding: it looks like "aid," but it's really cheap self-defense. Solve a problem there, and it never lands on our doorstep. But sure, let a bunch of guys who can't define DEI without Googling take a chainsaw to it. They didn't stop to ask, "Will this cut hurt us too?" Unless that's the point, burn it all down and call it efficiency.
As usual our inept agriculture secretary, blaming the Biden administration as usual, instead of offering a solution to the problem they created.
Texan here
A screwworm infestation is a nightmare for cattle, causing horrific wounds and economic devastation. For Texas, the situation has escalated dramatically in the last 24 hours with the first confirmed case of New World Screwworm (NWS) in over 60 years! This could have been avoided!
Infested animal can kill a cow in less than two weeks.
Treatment is extremely difficult and time-consuming, requiring the painful removal of every visible larva and deep disinfection of the wound. Ranchers no longer have much experience with this labor-intensive process, and there is currently no approved pharmaceutical treatment to make it easier.
This has triggered a massive economic threat. The USDA estimates that a widespread outbreak would drain an astonishing $1.8 billion from the Texas economy alone in livestock deaths, labor, and medication expenses.
How will this affect you? Tightening supplies will drive already high beef prices higher.
