I see some mindless, heartless trump supporting buzzards are once again trying to pick rancid meat off the bones of the story of Hunter Biden's addiction, this time fascinated at the idea that a guy in the grips of his addiction drove 172mph.

Right now, Hunter is in recovery. He has had a hard road back, and will for the rest of his life. How do I know? Because I'm in recovery too -- August 17th will make 20 years. 20 HARD years.

Most people in recovery have the benefit of their worst moments, when they were at their lowest, being hidden from public view. It's between them, their sponsor, their therapist, and their higher power. Nobody else.

I talk about my own repeated battles openly on this platform, well aware that they will be used to throw back in my face. They do it frequently, and will likely do it on this post. That's fine. It's my choice.

I do it because there was a time back in 1994 when I was homeless and hopeless, sitting in a detox not even knowing why I was wasting my time because I figured I'd probably just relapse again after so many failed attempts to get clean.

And then someone came in for a 12-step meeting and told MY story. I heard them say how hopeless they felt until they surrendered to their higher power. And all of a sudden, I had hope again.

So when I tell my story, it is my sincere hope that someone out there will see that same glimmer of hope. Just for today.

Anyone else who has tried to kick any kind of addiction knows how difficult it is to do. Not everyone survives. It wrecks the lives of those around them. It's hard enough to do that shit privately.

But these ghouls, these buzzards, these disgusting human vermin, have decided that they want to feast on the carcass of the addiction Hunter is trying to leave behind in his rear view mirror.

Fuck you assholes. Fuck every last goddamn one of you. When Hillary called you deplorable, that was a kindness you don't even deserve.

Many of you like to post "Christian" or "Jesus saves" on your social media profile, not even caring how hypocritical you sound when you cast your stones at Hunter Biden, while ignoring the multitude of very unchristian-like offenses committed by the guy you support for President.

You delight in sharing lurid pictures of someone who was at his lowest point in life, under the influence of a chemical that makes people behave horribly.

But if you yourself are not under the influence of those chemicals, what's YOUR excuse for acting like such horrible, deplorable assholes?
