@RosenthalHealth @MsMichelette @nytopinion Lab staff employed by hospitals are Medical Laboratory Scientists and other support staff that run COVID and other testing. This testing is done in person (essential workers) and they process covid and other potentially infectious samples daily.
@RosenthalHealth @MsMichelette @nytopinion “But many hospitals interpreted the recommendation broadly, inoculating their entire staff — public relations departments, administrators, programmers, laboratory scientists and, sometimes, their boards.” - You wrote that lab staff employed by hospitals are part of the problem.
@RosenthalHealth@nytopinion It is offensive to the profession of medical lab scientists to imply that they do not deserve to be vaccinated. Every person who receives the vaccine regardless of job title is helping. Attitudes like this are unnecessarily divisive and part of the vaccine distribution problem.
@MBonvoyAssist I would also like to recognize the extremely nice handwritten note I received from the front desk staff apologizing for the inconvenience. The gesture is appreciated.
@MBonvoyAssist I’m staying at a courtyard Marriott in Houston. Normally I don’t complain about this stuff, but last night I found a mystery brown stain on my bedding. I took the top cover off, slept in the bed, and asked the front desk to have housekeeping replace my bedding.
So in summary, I noticed a stain on my bedding last night, decided to wait until this morning to ask for replacement bedding, returned to the hotel 45 min ago to see that no one from housekeeping had been in my room at all, and then found another stain.
Unfortunately I don’t have a time machine to go back in time and pay $5 in taxes on the correct card, and sorry I don’t own a crystal ball to be able to predict the implications of the Marriott SPG merger on my @united status. This is why my loyalty will be switching to @Delta
My silver status was revoked in the middle of a trip presumably because my Marriott bonvoy status changed in the merger, which is not something I could have predicted. I find it hard to believe that a company as big as @united can’t find a way to take care of a $30 charge.
@AmericanExpress Why did I pay $550 for your platinum card when half of the perks are unavailable? Is your website down or was this a classic bait and switch?
Clearly @ATTCares doesn’t care about customer loyalty because an offer for a $15 credit in no way makes up for the 16+ hrs I spent on the phone over 2 days trying to get a glitch in their system fixed so I could get internet installed in my new apartment.
