A chorus of rescue choppers lasted until a little after daybreak, then hours of silence. Normal sounds of #DCA flight resumed over Old Town ALX just now. Background noise on any other day. Every plane now a reminder of how brief and fragile these lives are. #planecrashdc

Daybreak and the rescue choppers are still going nonstop. Sobering. Grateful to all those working tirelessly to retrieve every single passenger and crewmember. Horrific and humbling.

Sad, scary night in the DMV. I live really close to DCA and the river landing where northbound planes (like AA5342) approach. The rescue choppers are deafening tonight. Only reassurance is knowing the best and bravest are out working to rescue as many as humanly possible. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is Coulter Farms. If you’ve ever been to the Old Town Farmers Market, they are on the corner of Royal and King every Saturday, rain or shine.

My favorite farmer had it all along. Had set it aside thinking I’d come back for it, accidentally drove it back to PA in a crate, and discovered it while unpacking on Monday. Today I picked it up from them at the market, and not a scrap of cash or paper was missing. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
